weeding programme
« on: October 10, 2017, 09:18:33 AM »
If the weather is okay in the morning we will do an hour weeding from 9.0am. The left hand side is where we will be working.

Clarification:  The far side of the reservoir from east to west along the entire length will remain untouched other than making sure the areas near the far bouys are clear.  Other than that we will attempt to remove as much as we can from other areas during the coming months.
It has been suggested by a member we clear the top right hand corner for use by scale boats when fast electrics are running however that is not going to happen. The system we have is working well and will continue. (slot system used with a degree or two of common sense).

Further applications of the blue dye will be done in early spring.

I am back in the saddle following my chess playing exploits at the weekend. I remain unbeaten  this season but just missed out on the main prize money scoring 31/2 from 5. :(
Anyway to more important matters. If the weather is okay on Wednesday morning we will do a bit more weeding.

To prevent repetition on this subject;  assume we will be doing weeding each Wednesday from around 9.0am if sufficient folk turn up!

I will be ordering more blue dye at the end of the month. A small number of members don't think its any use however rest assured without it we would not be able to sail. Its a big supplement to the small number of members who help with the weeding which we will need to get on with again once the weather warms up.
