    The following is on display in the clubhouse           

               General Data Protection Regulations 2018
                                           (GDPR)
                   Privacy Notice to members of DDMBC   
               To comply with the new legislation please be informed;
DDMBC as an unincorporated association (small club) collects members data to facilitate the passing on of information concerning club activities to registered members and to keep a record for third party insurance purposes.
Data collected:
Name, address, e mail address and telephone numbers.
How it is the data stored?
Data is stored on the club secretaryís desk top computer in an encrypted file.
The Secretary, Chairman and treasurer also retain a paper copy for day to day use.
To whom is it past onto and for what purpose?
The data is not given to any club members other than aforementioned and is not given to any third party.
How long does the club keep the data?
The data is kept until a member does not renew his/her membership at which time the data is deleted forthwith.

Note. The new legislation replaces the old data protection act and now applies to all organisations including small clubs.
This privacy notice is now displayed on the club web site.
